low profile rear gi sight

Where can I get a low profile gi dovetail rear sight? I changed the sight on my ria gi 1911 & now I can't find the original . I'm going to sell the slide & want to put in a low profile gi rear to match the rounded gi front. Seems like most sights these days are the high profile, the new mil spec?
Thanks.

Go to Advance Tactical (https://advancedtactical.com/) RIA’s official parts site.

Hi,
Hmmm....Does Armscor/RIA make their parts to GI specs???

Just wondering, maybe they have improved over the years???

If the OPís was an original RIA GI model, the one on advance Tactical Will fit.
Stick to The original manufacturer on your parts and they will fit.
If you have a war surplus, get a surplus part and they will fit within tolerances.

Call SACS for the specs then call Colt for their specs and see if they are interchangeable.

A GI-spec sight dovetail is supposed to be cut the same regardless of manufacturer. If anyone makes theirs a slightly different size then they have no business calling their pistol a mil-spec or GI model.

Avoid the temptation to replace everything on your brand-new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.
