Ordered a Pro

Just ordered a Professional from KY gun co. Sold a 226SAO and P220SAO to pay for it. Wanted one for years, and although the sigs were cool and nice enough... I couldn’t help but think they should be a 1911. Will be my first Springfield in a long long time. Had a stainless TRP and a basic SA Mil spec years ago. It will be joining my current 1911 line up of a Colt Rail gun, Colt SCG Carry and Wilson CQB fairly well optioned. Looks like I have up to 10 days to ship, plus the MD wait time.

It came down to the Pro or another Wilson, but I didn’t want to wait so the Pro won.

Congrats on your newly acquired Pro. Is it a 9mm or .45? Rail or no rail? Post up some pics when you get it and maybe some comments on fit and finish. I’m curious how tight SACS is fitting these Pros nowadays.

I went Classic 90’s style. .45 no rail. Will definitely post some pics whenever it shows up.

Congratulations. My wife just bought me one for our 25th anniversary. I had been wanting one for at least 15 years if not more. Finally saw one listed at a somewhat local gun store and mentioned it so she called them to hold it for her. Not sure how I am going to reciprocate for her.

it’s new. And even though they said 10-14 days to ship, I got a shipping notification today and it is scheduled for delivery to my LGS Friday.

Holy crap, I'm jealous. Been almost 4 weeks since I ordered a loaded, and nobody has a clue as to when it might arrive.

There are a few Loadeds on GB with a couple in Cal. go that route and you will have it in days and then you'll have to endure the state imposed waiting period.

Yeah, my luck, they'd both show up on the same day. Wonder how that effects the 30 day wait here in Khalifornia.

It’s here, it’s here! Showed up today at my LGS, paperwork submitted now I just have the MD 7-day cool off period. Fit and finish seem excellent, gun was very very tight but workable if you eat your wheaties. Certainly didn’t have to use the edge of the counter to rack it. Can’t wait to send some lead down range next week.

Sweet, I'm sure you're gonna love it. The seven day wait is rough, hope it passes quickly for you.

Fantastic! Let us know how it runs. And yeah, I've got a 10 day wait here in the people's republic of Khalifornia.

Well, I got to take it home today after work. Had planned on hitting the range... but 4 hours of windshield time and a 2.5 hr meeting said otherwise. I did get to start the socialization process with its siblings though.
