Model info

Looking around on gunbroker at nighthawks for my next semi custom 1911. I found a railed falcon that im interested in, but cannot find any information at all. The only falcons i see are non railed. Can anyone give me any info on this particular model? Thanks in advance

Sounds like a Falcon. With a rail.

Don't overthink it?

I was just curious, I looked at their current offerings and didnt see one, then i looked at the archived models and didn't see one, i was just making sure it was a true legit nighthawk before i made a bid. The serial isn't visible in the pics posted, and nighthawk is closed until monday.

From examining several Nighthawks on Gunbroker, it appears that a rail is an option on at least several models and when it is added that model becomes a "recon" version. So you are looking for a Falcon Recon. The one I see on GB is a .38 Super with a flat trigger.

It is a legit Nighthawk. Go back to Nighthawk's site and open up the Falcon page. Scroll down the page until you come to custom options & upgrades, click on frame and you'll see Recon Rail upgrade for $100. You can even upgrade it to a double stack frame if you'd like.
