any one build a para kit?

Found this on Sarco, anyone build it? How difficult was it?

No, I've not built one. For a few years beginning around 1990 the LDA was popular and had its advocates--some people thought/still think they are great. It looks kind of like a 1911, but it's not a 1911. The trigger and the internal and ignition parts are distinctly different from the 1911. Also, I've never seen a set of assembly instructions--I'm sure somewhere you could find them with a Google search or youtube.

Three inch barrels often have feeding and ejection problems.

The price seems good if you can get it assembled and it works reliably.

I have several Para Ordnance pistols--P12, P13, P14--and I've generally been very happy with them. I've described my experiences elsewhere in this subforum.

You're going to need an LDA hammer and grip safety. Are those available?

SARCO has also been advertising P10 Warthog frames for $85. I might give it a try and look for piece parts as they become available.
