Suggestion: Multiple-forum threads

Suggestion:
Implement and / or enable* the capability to add a single thread to multiple sub-forums.

Use case:
Out of 33 threads that I’ve started, eight would have been better to have shown up in multiple sub-forums. Usually two forums; because one forum would be “Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting“ and the other the forum I judged best suited to the specific firearm. Being shown under each forum, such a thread would be seen by audiences of any / either of the forums: the author could catch responders, for example, to gunsmithing AND those with an interest in the specific firearm type: without crossposting.

Feasibility:
It’s computers ... we can do anything.

Were *I* implementing such a feature, I’d probably make it a user permission. As a permission, users who persistently over-published to unsuitable forums could have the permission disabled.

*- If such already exists ... “enable” could be accomplished by pointing me to instructions on how to use it: I’ve looked on the site w/o finding instructions ... but have yet to pull out the big guns and google for it.

Thanks for reading,

Hello there,

Thank you for the suggestion.
However, there isn't a possibility to post in multiple sections of the forum at once.
I looked for a custom plugin for this, but no luck.
It is something we can put on our radar.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Ed
