New grips but no photo

One of my buds turned me on to the Hogue "rubber" grips for my Taurus PT-1911. Eleven bucks plus little shipping, swapped right out no interference issue with the safety. Fired a mag off, like the feel makes me feel more connected to the gun. I also have a Hogue monogrip on my S&W PD325 .45 acp revolver. Like them too. So now I have a hammer for the left and right hand cause I think the .45acp was and still is the original hammer.

I think mr burgs reported he encountered no resistance either with hogue rubber. I have two styles of hogue rubber and have not used them on a Taurus. One is the pebbled surface style with slight palm swells and the other is the double diamond style that simulates the profile and appearance of a wooden double diamond 1911 grip. The hogue grip I did try was the extreme aluminum. Different grip screws were required. The safety worked very well using the right thumb. Using the left thumb there was a glitch. I have expressed to my various mechanics to please try the gun in both hands prior to rendering a verdict that all is well. Of course this applies to other brands of 1911s since the ambi I need comes on a Taurus.
