After seeing some of these less attractive pistols, the Tokarev has an almost 90 grip angle and uninteresting features. That’s what I could not put words to. Even the Nambu is interesting looking.

I always take 'pistols' to mean autos. But there's some ugly revolvers too.

I agree with Op's opinions when the pistol is a Glock, Ruger, Springfield Armory, Hi Point, Jennings, Raven, Hudson, and most any plastic hand gun.

YES - VERY MANY UGLIER GUMS THAN TOKAREVs.
HERE IS AN ORIGINAL RUSSIAN ONE: It is NOT UGLY, It is a Browning Design Copy, Steel, Narrow, Somewhat light, Simple, Very Reliable, will last generations.

I don't see what's not to like.

Not really ugly (because I wouldn't mind having one), but at $1,600.00.

Would seem the perfect door knock at night gun for these times though.

That won’t apply to runway models or suits though. 🤨

All in good fun

The Jehovah's probably wouldn't get the point though.

Nice people, but why do they always seem to show up when you're turtling?

I had a couple of them approach me when I was weed whacking! 90 degrees, 100% humidity...….
All I had to say was "Really".....they made a hasty retreat.
That's as dumb as pissin' in your dresser because you drank too much!
I laughed at the turtling....I imagined a bunch of your buddies jumping out of the hedges to clean the driveway with them!

Those Ruger DA/SA autos from the 80s or 90s.

The Yugo Tokarev feels good in my hands.

Lest you think that all of the ugly designs have already been unleashed on the world...this comes across the interwebs. Behold the Thunderstruck. Supposed to fire two .22lr rounds with each trigger pull.

Am I the only one who thinks the laminated grips on the new Python are hideous?

But I digress. Many years ago, in a country that doesn't exist any longer, a 1948 dated Russian TT-33 was my EDC, and it followed me home upon expiration of my term of service.

Never had to use it, but I had absolute confidence in that little gun then as well as now. I run a couple magazines of surplus commie ammo thru it every few years and it has never failed to run 100%. That qualifies as stunningly beautiful as far as I'm concerned.

Remember the Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle from a few years ago?

Well, some of you probably already knew this, but I only learned it recently. The Micro was an imported and rebranded Kevin ZP98 pistol from the Czech Republic:

Not the most hideous gun in this thread, but it won't be winning any beauty contests.

I would say the Hi Point has it beat as the ugliest pistol.

+1 thanks for posting it. THATS JUST WRONG. I understand the tubular stock on a AR - but on anything else - it looks like a crutch or prosthetic limb.

>>I always think of this photo when I see THEM.<<

But I like folders if they are well matched to the weapon.
