How to get Dan Wesson parts?

I want to buy a firing pin for my Vigil 45 ACP. My calls to both Dan Wesson Parts and to Service just go to voice mail. This has been going on for two days now. Is Dan Wesson still in business? How does one order parts?

DW just called me back and I ordered the parts. Sorry for panicking. I have dealt with Remington, S&W, Beretta, and Ruger. This is the first time I have dealt with a company with such a small service staff. I will be more patient if this occurs again with DW.

I get a little frustrated as well since most of the time I would much rather talk these things over on the phone.

Having said that, Shawn @ the email address above has always emailed me back later that day or by first thing the next morning. Nothing but good experiences for me so far.

Glad you heard back from DW. I would have just gone to Harrison Design, my go to for anything 1911, and ordered this: https://shop.harrisoncustom.com/hd-211-firing-pin-389mm and a firing pin spring....you probably launched that too.

For my all my 1911s, including the 4 Valors, when I need a part I go to Harrison Design first and, if John doesn't have it, EGW is my second stop.

Glad you are good to go.

From their webpage there is a link where you can send them a message. Eveytime I've used I received an answer via email either that day or the next business day.

Each and every time.

I'm very pleased with their response time and depth of information on the initial reply.

Thanks for all the comments. My current status is that I ordered 2 firing pins (in case of another launch) and springs on Feb 28. So far my credit charge has not been charged. If it is not charged by tomorrow, I will start calling again.

Regarding [email protected], does he sell CZ parts or DW parts. I called CZ at one point to find out what was up with DW, and the person I spoke to just transferred me to the same DW parts number I had been calling all along.

I order all my parts through Shawn. They can be slow processing an order sometimes.

If you need CZ parts, go to Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom.
