Just about finished with my rear shelf storage. the goal is to pretty much just elevate the back end so I can keep some gear in there, but still use the whole rear for grocery gettin'. Just need some carpet and it will be done.

Living here in Las Vegas, many folks have summer cabins in the Southwest Utah area. It's about a three hour drive from Las Vegas. I have a friend that owns one of these cabins in the Utah mountains, and he always says that's where he will head in a SHTF event.

I pointed out to him that the main route to get there is on Interstate 15 which winds through the Virgin River gorge. It's two lanes in both directions, but one big crash, and it's a road block in the gorge. After he thought about what I had said, he finally decided he had better look for alternate routes.

If you're planning a BO from somewhere, you had better know the route, and alternates in the case of a closure. In a SHTF event in Las Vegas, it won't take long for Interstate 15 to become a parking lot.
