Trip to APW

Couple of buddys and i spent some time with Bob Cogan at his APW shop yesterday going over some custom work on some handguns. That man is full of endless knowledge and stories of people and things going on in the gun world.I have used him for years to modify, build or refinish my guns but had never met him.He is no different in person than on the phone if any of you that have talked to him know what i mean.

I've always enjoyed my conversations with Bob over the decades. He is always informative and some of his stores are absolutely hilarious. Bob is always thinking up more and better ways to improve his service and products and he is generous with his knowledge.

Bob Cogan is one of the greats in the business that doesn't get enough public credit. I wish that I could meet him in person.

Only issue with going in the shop vs talking on the phone is having to inhale all of the smoke and wash your clothes to get rid of the smell of cigarettes.
