Off to an awesome start PM-c 9mm

Ordered it yesterday and it arrived today. Took it to the backyard range and ran about 175 rounds through it after an initial clean and lube.
All types of ammo. From 115Ė147. Ball and HPís. Various manufacturers and bullet styles.
I shot at distances of 7 yards to 100 and was hitting gongs very consistently. I even made a 200 yard shot connect once.
I better get to reloading or buying more ammo
Iím liking this better than my Vigil or the ECP ( both 9mm)

Outstanding !!!!!

I picked mine up today, too.

Looking forward to getting in that first range session...it won't be outdoors like your great session was.

Sounds like you did a really solid wring-out run with it.......7 yards to 200....I'd say you had some fun, there.

This is my first cco sized 1911 and I'm guessing the nice heft of it combined with the 9mm will have it shooting much more smoothly than the officer-sized lightweight framed .45 Colt I have (it's not bad, either...so I'm expecting this PM-C to be super).

Grips look great on yours.

That's what mine is in, people pashaw the 38 Super as impractical due to cost etc, I don't think they realize how great it is to shoot and fills a void between 9mm and 45.

I really like my PM-C, and I have the best of both worlds. I bought one in 38 Super then found a Dan Wesson 9MM barrel online to fit to it.
I reload so except for initial brass cost reloading for them are basically the same.

Ran another 100 fun filled rounds down range this afternoon. Man I need more mags for it!!
I also ordered another 1000 rounds of bulk blazer 115 grn. It may be gone in a month at this rate especially if I get more magazines!

I cleaned it up Sunday then went out Monday for a quick session down on the lower range. Just 50 rounds but it was all strong hand multiple targets 7-15 yards. Love the front sight on this thing.

Cool to see more people appreciating the solid and excellent Dan Wesson 1911s.

Another 100 some odd rounds today. I’m to the point now that I add a few drops of lube wipe off the excess and get to shooting. Now I’m just shooting the bulk blazer brass 115 ammo that comes in the loose 1000 round box. Very mild shooting and the gun functions fine on it.

Outstanding. I'll bet that .38Super is a sweet shooter.
