New VA house bill that fires law enforcement folks for obstructing the State laws.

https://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/leg...e?201+ful+HB67

Perhaps VA is where the next civil war will start. Better get ready.

Nope. When it's "time" to bury your guns, it's actually TIME to start digging them up...

MOREOVER... the state "elects"... ... all democraps, and then turns into a 2nd Amendment SANCTUARY?!

Anyone check on Russian collusion/meddling in THIS election yet?! When democraps are involved, election meddling is GUARANTEED (Chitcago, Philthy, DEE-troit, et.al.).

Precisely.

Burying them or losing them in a boating accident is bullcrap. If you do that, you might as well hand them over and get in line for the showers.

Some food for thought.

Ralph Bloomberg as part of his repressive agenda. He is pushing for local governments to be able to enact their own repressive ordinances restricting second amendment rights.

So this begs the question. If localities, cities, towns, counties, what have you. If they are allowed to enact restrictive ordinances that will have the force of law. What about localities, cities, towns, and counties that decide to enact ordinances that specifically define what is legal within their jurisdiction. And that these places determine that despite whatever the State says that There are no restriction on what firearms or magazine may be held in possession by private citizens. What happens then?

Totally agree that burying them is a sidestep. At the point you need to do that you might need to be fighting anyway.

You can always vote with your feet. Other states not as oppressive benefit from your patronage and tax dollars. Offending states lose congressional representation and your tax dollars. The way our country is structured, offending states then become less powerful. Look at what's happening in NY. Many are moving to FL. In CA, many are moving to TX. We can also fight in the courts before we fight in the streets. Who knows, it may come to it, but we're still a few chapters away from that possible eventuality.

Unfortunately, when those folks leave the paradise they created, they drag the disease along behind them to their new state and infect it with the same malaise.

Unfortunately, there are no "grandfather" provisions in most of the laws being proposed for the next sessions of the VA House of Delegates and State Senate in 2020. Buying ARs and high capacity magazines now could easily make you a class 6 felon if the Dems have their way. Such laws will, of course, be challenged in the courts and the state government will have a very hard time enforcing the laws. We're not going to just roll over and play dead here.

It's actually a good thing that there aren't grandfather clauses. They are insidious and tend to lull people to stay inside that soon to be boiling pot of water.

Voting with your feet is exactly the opposite action i would take. That is the mindset of the refugee and i will do my best not to become one. There may be a time i have to do that, but it isn't any time soon. If the world took a stand more often i would like to think the oppressing parties would have a bit more caution in stomping out peoples' rights and we would have far less call for our military to try and clean up someone else's mess.

For instance, i thought desert storm was an easily justifiable operation, but who is really to blame for it in the end? I put some of the blame on the Kuwaitis and Saudis for not being ready to defend themselves. At some point individual responsibility has to kick in or someone else is going to have to make the stand for you.
