I posted it a few days ago.

Gives the lie to the ones who think all cops are bad and can't wait to come after legal guns.

We need to get this happening in every state in the union. And when legal, they can deputize people in their counties, and they can create "special deputies" of people who live outside their jurisdictions. This could become the simple but effective way to fight back against the Marxist control lobby.

Yep.

Our message should be this---------------"you clowns need to rest assured that with whatever nonsense you're trying to shove down our throats, think of jamming a square peg into a round hole. Difficult will be an understatement."

As I said in another thread, the Democrats are known for screwing up everything they touch. We need to make sure we help them repeat that process on this illegal endeavor.

They've got no bal**.

Sheriffs run for election.
The vast majority of 'Police Departments Leaders' are appointed by politicians.

Definately a brilliant move by the sheriff. He may get some national traction from being on Fox News this morning

The sooner the better.
A perfect gambit to use to tie the House of Delegates and Senate in knots.

They will have to work like crazy to pass anything and not interfere.

A stunning Gesture.
Can't wait for him to start.

Unfortunately, the latest news is that they've come up with a "Grandfather clause". But you'll still have to register.

That's worked well in NY and Conn.

Never happen—the legal liability would be off the charts.

Have them go through a "reserve training program" then make them a special deputy? Require all reserves to be armed.

Not in Virginia.
Sovereign Immunity is still invoked.
