I posted a similar picture in another thread, but wanted to have a picture in this thread also. This gun is a real Joy to shoot.
Absolutely love the old school ones with the half dust cover. Hopefully I can come across one of these in the future! Nice pick up!

Went to a really nice out door range and ran 200 rounds of 115 gr. jacketed Winchester. Within the first two magazines I experienced one FTF each and the slide failed to lock back. After the last FTF at around the 23 round, the gun ran flawlessly the rest of the time. It did fail to lock back two more times for a total of three times out of the twelve magazines I shot through the gun.

All in all, I was extremely happy with the gun. Itís incredibly accurate and it just seems to really fit my hand extraordinarily well. When I return home from Alaska, Iíll hit the range again and this time, Iíll put at least 500 more rounds down the pipe.

In my limited experience with 3 recent STIs the failure to lock back goes away after a few rounds, break-in issue i guess. Oiled up to the point of needing to wipe off the excess, that seemed to really help. You are likely not as dumb as me, early on I noticed I let the thumb of my support hand rest touching the slide release. Apparently that was enough to inhibit lock back. Thumb moved, issue stopped. Not sure which issue actually was the most important but all work 100% now.

New STI.

I'm new to the STI scene. I recently picked up a DVC Carry, but I have no intentions of carrying this beauty. My Sig P938 Legion fits that bill.

The STI is purely for range fun, and it is extremely fun. I put a Trijicon SRO on it, and it makes me look like pro. I'm in love with it... don't tell my wife. haha!

I can already tell that my other pistols will be collecting a lot of dust.

Couldn't Limit myself

Look what followed me home today, I was torn because I think I would have liked a black one but then I have a black one in 40 so I guess I can tell them apart this way. But the slide is so soft and smooth and the trigger perfect at 2.25lbs.
But the thing I got a kick out of most is the test target, Winchester White Box, really, maybe that was a one shot group that keyholed.
Anyway can't wait to see how it shoots.

Oh, and as if the damage wasn't done already to my wallet I jokingly asked where his Colt SAA's were expecting him to laugh at me. But no, of course not, he pulled out three. I haven't seen these in years and was beginning to wonder if they even made them anymore. So another might have tagged along too.

Very nice!! My CM is coming by the end of the week and I am trying to obtain a DVC-P (or omni, no preference) in .45 ACP via someone who wants to trade. Starting my STI collection and it will maybe look nice like that one day!!

This pistol is amazing. It is going to replace my CQB Elite as my primary use sidearm.

With some creative Google Fu, I was able to find someone with a couple in stock.

9mm. My wife and I consolidated everything to a single caliber to make it easier when buying ammo and interchangeability.

Only 45 I have left is an old colt commander that was a gift when I got out of the Marines

STI/SVI gallery... PICS

I had originally gotten the Holosun just as a place holder to see what came out at SHOT, but wow I really like it! I have astigmatism and most dots are comets, but this with the ring is crisp and clear!
