The mainspring housing on my tactical came in plastic. In fact I'm fairly certain read that in the listing somewhere. Ill need to do a bit of digging to be sure.

Now my buddy's GI model I'm pretty certain came with a metal MSH. Unfortunately he's done a lot of part swapping on that pistol, so i cannot be certain.
