It would certainly appear.

That no place is safe from these animals.
If you think that it can not happen in your state. You better think again.

It is our judiciary that is weak and unwilling to protect the Second Amendment. The 2A is treated like the red headed step child of the Bill of Rights while things like civil rights, abortion, and same sex marriage they treat as sacred. That is the problem.

Agree about the judiciary above...But hope with POTUS replacing over 20% of them in the last 3 years we may see some positive change.

As far as the article, I am tired of typing it myself, but until we act as a national unit 5,000,000 NRA members strong to fight in any state at any time, along with the Gun-industry being much more politically active, we will remain at a disadvantage...We have seen some small glimmer of this happening (out of stater's joining the VCDL, donating to the Patriots, and even marching in VA) due to the VA situations, but we need to do a lot more.

Amazing. I really do not remember any mass shootings being reported in Idaho. The last big shooting event I remember was when the Feds staged their botched arrests at Ruby Ridge. The mayor looks more like a neo-nazi type than a far left liberal, but what do i know anymore.

This is difficult to get my head around....and I may not understand it correctly.....Do I have this right?

Mayor wants to remove A2 rights from American citizens because musicians may/may not play music at events unless the attendees are disarmed?

Is that the issue?

That does in fact appear to be the case.

Pretty sad if you ask me.

Great point and very true. Tons of inertia built in against 2A from many directions.

Weird, since we've all been carrying in Idaho for years and no incidents have ever happened. Little hipster fudge packer mayor has another thing comin.

Though Boise's new mayor would be all for this.

There is no difference between a neo-Nazi and a far left liberal. Hitler and Stalin were both fascists. Both dictators. Both socialists. Both evil.

You've said it all right here. If we keeping looking to our "government representatives" to rescue the Constitution, our country will end up in even more trouble than we have now. We have to become a 5,000,000 person army that will surround government buildings and take to the streets. Right now, the sheep in the middle are letting the Left push them into accepting socialism. But if we beat the Left at their own game, we have a fighting chance. But unless we actually put our bodies out there...again and again and again and again...we will lose. And if we lose, your had better start studying what Clint Smith calls Close Combat Conflict Resolution...or Urban Rifle 2.

I would much rather win this cultural war politically...if possible. But I'm not willing to lose it, period.

I think the only place really safe for the foreseeable future is Alaska.. That's cause no one in the lower 48 feels threatened by them having guns. But a dem. President could change all that.

I've been to AK frequently and have a buddy who lives there. The blasted granola munching idiots from WA, CA, OR are moving up there as fast as the airplanes will haul them and letting everyone know what their opinions are. Trying to take over like they do everywhere they squat.

^ I dislike the term "neo-nazi", it's used to demonize/marginalized any white person(men specifically) with traditional morals and values.

It's been happening to Idaho for a decade now. Gotten really bad the last 5ish years. If I told you how many people moved here in 2018, just from California alone, you wouldn't believe it.

It was 18,000 by the way. That's from California to Boise. That's not counting to other cities in Idaho or the influx from Portland and Seattle.

Interesting looking dude, for a mayor, though the town appears to have a population under 10,000, so anything is possible.

I'd expect to see a bunch of folks that look like him, with an added eye patch and a puffy shirt, at the Mardi Gras parades this weekend. Arrrgggh.

Sand Point has a 10 day music festival Aug 6-16. Probably a major profit center for business in the town. So of course it follows musicians have veto power over the Bill of Rights.

Note to Sand Point....the world if full of musicians.
Our Constitution and Bill of Rights are unique.
