Anyone familiar with the National association for gun rights?

I am asking because I got a letter from them today. With the apparent approval of Senator Rand Paul. They are asking for a signature on a petition regarding that bogus United Nations small arms "treaty". And money of course.

It looks legit to me. But I am not familiar with this group.

Google NAGR. There is controversy surrounding them.

I looked into them once I was in a position to spend $ on anything absolutely non-essential. Basically what I found was not entirely on the up and up.

They seem disingenuous to an alarming degree. I think they're a false flag, an anti-gun group masquerading as a pro-gun group.

I got an e-mail from them today and I thought I would check them out a bit before I sent any donations. I am glad to see this post, I will stick to donating to the gun groups and 2ND Amendment groups I know a little bit about.

This sounds like a good plan.

The NRA has referred to NAGR leader Dudley Brown as "the Al Sharpton of the gun movement".

^I've heard of Brown, I've also heard he's the Dudley Moore of "gun rights".
