Looks like Georgia may face the same problems Virginia is facing.

Seriously folks, unless we permanently boot the UN out of the US. Quit electing anti America people to represent us, this will be coming to every last state.

This bill will never see the light of day. The 4 sponsors are all VERY liberal democrats and it is in the Judiciary Committee and will most likely get killed there. Governor Kemp ran on protecting our 2A rights and even had commercials with him holding guns and more guns in the background.

That's sadly true, but when they (Hollyweird) threatened to leave and take their business elsewhere if our Governor wouldn't back down on supporting "The Heartbeat Bill" he basically said leave then, Georgia's a sanctuary state for babies so piss-off. Chic-fil-A owns Pinewood Studios now and Kemp held his ground when it came down to money and politics. He's set a precedence for his convictions.

I keep saying, the liberal nut job gun grabbers know these bills have no chance of passing. These proposed bills are designed to get good law abiding people to boast online about what they'll do when someone comes to get their guns. The things these people boast about will be used sometime in the future for evidence in "red flag" cases.

DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT YOU MIGHT DO, OR MIGHT NOT DO IF SOMEONE COMES TO GET YOUR GUNS.

.

That's a great point! The left likes to agitate then use our response as ammunition against us. Don't give them anything to use against us. Our gun safes should be like our bank account, private! This country could learn a lesson from Hitler. Once the citizens had no self defense he was able to do exactly what he wanted to do! The United States citizen has gotten weak over time and I honestly believe a majority will now down and hand over their guns if it came to it. It's sad but true. If everyone still had grit this country wouldn't be where it's at today. Hopefully Virginia Patriots will stand up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH and get that governor out of office before he pushes his liberal agenda down their throats. Set a precedent that we are not going to take any more and that the Constitution is still valid and strong. Peaceful of course, unless their side breaks that peace first! I'm not surprised that California passed gun control so easily. New York is another that didn't surprise me. Now they are trying in southern states!! I didn't expect it to go over easily down here.

One of my friends is a Georgia House floor leader and we talked yesterday, He is aware of SB281 even though it is in the senate and he said there was no chance it would pass. Ga Republicans came very close to losing the Governor's seat this last time, people that care about 2A and other conservative issues need to be more active at the polls.

. We are very active. Unfortunately there's less of us now as the left appeals to the younger generation with all this "free stuff" talk. I'm from a strong conservative family, but my nephew's and nieces are going left and at the voting age. What appeals to them? I have no clue! Perhaps the free college education? Universal health insurance? Idk. It's being pushed and taught in school how great socialism is. History books are being re written from our time. The civil war, the revolutionary war is not being taught. The kids these days don't know what America had to do to be America. They don't know the value of the Constitution! I made sure my kids knew. They didn't learn in school. But I had them study it at home. When they asked about it at school, they were told "we don't teach that anymore because we aren't sure of the accuracy". ***.

This sort of crap is coming to every state in the Union sooner or later. Let's use Wyoming as an example. It's just about the most conservative, pro-gun state there is... but there are a whopping 500,000 residents living there. Now imagine if somebody lets Amazon build a new distribution center there, or Hollywood comes to town. All it would take is a measly half-million California or east coast transplants to move in and fill those jobs and suddenly it's a blue state. We are being outnumbered slowly but surely, as the leftists leave their ***thole high-tax states and infest neighboring states instead. And then the doors are wide open for people from third-world countries to move here and take all the jobs (not just low-wage, but high-wage like IT as well) for a small fraction of the pay folks like you or I would make. And of course they bring their entire families here with them as well.

50 years from now we will no longer recognize this country... that is pretty much assured.

It's a shame. Decent, hard working, misinformed people vote for liberal, and anti gun politicians. (either because of what they see on the news, or simply because they're....not very smart). This turns the places they live into crime ridden cesspools. These people move to conservative areas, vote for liberals, and turn these areas into crime ridden cesspools.

I share your concerns about the next 50 years. Both of my Grandsons are good, smart, hard working conservative teenagers but I fear for their futures.

There are two primary reasons for the defeat of Conservatives in the past few decades. The Marxist Communists took over the education systems and the Media. That is where the battles need to be fought to protect our country from being taken over by there Marxist propaganda.

Keep Virginia and Georgia in mind whenever some moron tells those of us in California or New York to move. No point in running, you'll only die tired.

We are one country. What happens in one state affects us all.

I drive from Lawrenceville, Ga. to Gainesville everyday to work and see 2-3 New York license plates on each drive. Never the same car.

When a house goes up for sale in my neighborhood, the new buyers are from NY or New Jersey.

Stacey Abrams came too close to winning the Governorship.

This will be a blue state in a few years and our gun rights will start to disappear.

. Yes the blue coats are definitely migrating to the red States solely with the intent of getting them turned into blue states. Dumping all these refugees in the red States = planting and grooming blue voters. That's one reason that Georgia needs to disallow the refugee settlement to establish here.

I have lived in Georgia all of my 63 years and I see the move from red to blue coming from two different sources. One the number of minorities in Georgia as a percentage of the population seems to be increasing due to immigration and higher birth rate among minorities and more importantly they usually vote Democrat. The second reason is the liberalization of our young people, free sounds good because they have no idea who is paying for or don't care. In the long term our only hope to remain a red state is to convince the minorities that the Democrats have failed them. Blexit is making an impact but it's going to take more.

We can surely sympathize with you.

Lots of us live in states that we never thought would be threatened in this fashion. I will say this. If you see it coming. Then the time to organize is now. And do not wait for someone else to do it. Get out there and do it now.
