Hi Kevin, sorry your are having problems with the magazines! I am not familiar with your Nightwawk and was wondering if it has a lite weight allow frame? Reason I ask; with my Sig C3, I was having occasional problems with "Inertia Feeding" where the magazine would lock back on it's own with rounds still left in the magazine. From what I read, that issue is more prevalent in lite weight framed .45's.
Although I do have some 8 round 45 magazines, for concealed carry, I only use flush 7 round magazines that have a +10% increase spring weight and do not have any issues. In my C3 and my other Officer's frame size 45, I use only the 6 round magazine or 7 rounders, that extends slightly beyond the grip; essentially it's a standard 7 round magazine with a fancy floor plate made to look natural as it extends slightly beyond the grip.
