I'm smiling at the thought of how many millions of 1911s have been in use, have been very accurate and faithful tools in the hands of soldiers and LEOs for many years that never came close to the kind of tolerances the reviewer is citing as being a fault in the SR1911.

Can't wait to read your range report.
Heads and Tails above a RIA. Tops Taurus easily. I would say its apples to apples with a well fit Springfield Loaded at a $150 less (there are some that aren't fit so good)...nice thing though...no fugly fcs, 100% american made, high quality slide and frame, no ugly billboard rolls, tasteful grips. Things I'd change or request, solid trigger or standard 3 hole trigger, all ss controls, stupid warning removed from dust cover. overall...impressive for the money.
