TIA

I have 4 of them, 1 @ $850, 1@ $950, 1@ $1,100 and the last which came with the original belt, holster, mag pouch, 3 pre 1916 magazines and a pistol that was named to a Captain in 2 Engineer Co. Canadian Expeditionary Force that I paid $2,100 for. Pictures are everything, plus if parts have been replaced value is less. 3 of my Canadian Contract Colts have non original barrels (guess which ones).

Colt factory letter may help to confirm whether this one went north or not.

I had a beautiful Govt. Model with the characteristic "mottling" from storage in a canvas Mills holster that was sold to me as a Canadian contract gun by a prominent dealer, but turned out to have been shipped to San Francisco.

Just bought a 1914 commercial colt serial # 130xx in excellent condition 90 to 95% original blue (99% blue except for front and back gripstraps), paid more than I wanted to but I have been looking for a very long time for one in this condition. I have sent for a letter and hope that it comes back as a Canadian contract, the 2 tone mag is c broad arrow marked but not the gun
