I am not throwing rocks and workload these days does not let me scroll through the internet like Billy1911 :biglaugh:

School me on the Ronin Operator.

I thought the name Operator in the SA line up meant railed frame.

I like the look of a traditional two tone and have thinned my herd down with plans to buy something big when the time is right (OK.... ACW)

but scratching my head with the Operator name on a traditional frame piece.

thanks ini advance

A Springfield change just when you think you got things figured out .
Changes are made . Yes they could have just called it the RONIN .

But they did not . They added the word Operator to it . Buzz word
these days ???? got me . I think if you listen to your customers build
the pistol they want , at a good price it will sell . buzz or no buzz
words .

Yes I'am working . I'am just working less about 36-38 hours a week
but getting paid for 40 . Nice change of pace from 50-55 a week . LOL

Do i know what Springfield is up to ? What direction they are going ?
NOPE ... I like the RONIN . I hope we will see more stuff like it but
more towards the loaded line with checkering added .

I just got an LWRC DI CI Pistol that I'am going to play with . That is
where I'am headed , with 1000 rds of 556 and another 1000 rds of
124gr 9mm for my Combat Operator and about 35 steel plates at the
Farm . ;)

Oh and why is it every time you get a new firearm you have to spend
2000.00 to get it where you want it . 1550.00 for the gun . 100.00
for Wilson flip ups. 130.00 for 10 gen 3 magazines . 170.00 for a sig
romeo 5 red dot sight . Then add 380.00 for 1000 rds of 556 . plus
taxes . You may think this hobby of mine is costing me money . lol

thanks for the info. I dont keep up with SA changes.

We are in the same boat..... I bought this dude cheap at the beginning of the year. It needed alot of TLC and fixes....thats why I got it for a decent price.

We can call it my two tone Ronin..... Operator. This model lacks a checkered front strap. :biglaugh:

The Ronin would be better with no FCS and 25lpi high cut checkering.

All I know is you can't have the Custom Carry back, nope, it's mine, all mine. :)

Hopefully now that Coonman has opened ranges back up I can go shoot it again.
