I've personally seen on more than one occasion where the suede-lining has caused the bluing to come off, as well as excessive wear. I won't put the suede as a lining. YMMV.

I'd double-check the alignment of the screw holes on your Para against a 3" 1911 frame. I have a Para Carry 9 LDA, which is essentially their 3" 1911 style frame, and the screw holes are different...
