To throw in my 2 cents, I prefer the shorter spring plug with the thick bushing as it gives it a stacked appearance. Heirloom Precision does their pistols this way as well.

For me the biggest upgrade on the Valor over the specialist is the higher trigger guard undercut and checkering. It just makes the gun look and feel better and in my book is the best factory undercut...
