All aluminum DWís use ramped barrels regardless of caliber, and all the 9mmís have ramped barrels regardless of frame materials.

DW uses ramped barrels in their steel guns in calibers other than .45.

Some of the early 10mm CBOBs did not...

The Vigils came along after DW made the switch from the Springfield dovetail to the Novak. None of the Vigils have the Springfield cut.

The malfunctions did look similar, but mine was a 9mm. It would feed ball ammo but not HPís. They ended up saying the chamber was out of spec.
