A lot of the guns mentioned are not enough smaller than the Staccato P (4.4" barrel 33 oz dry) to be more portable. The ones that are, are not anything I would care to shoot 300 at a time.

The stuff I see in Patriot Gun Polishing advertisements is either stainless, aluminum, or nickel plated. I bet the guns he shows a before picture in black or blue are plated after the high polish....

Holes can be welded up, machined flat, and refinished at a price but I never heard of filling an enlarged ejection port back in.

I would just consider it a shootable heirloom and not worry about...
