no, the pin was allright...i had to enlarge the rail on the hook and also minor resizing in order to let the slide move . It was simply not fitting and slide stuck and not close

i just bought an aftermarket extended slide release, but i had to work a lot and still didnt fit properly 100%.
Anyone knows any extended slide release that fits SW 1911 without big smithing work?...

i agree it wont affect the shooting, but i would have expected something better, even though here the price is USD1300...

i assume the magazines were new as well, isnt it? i would give a check to the spring and work on that side, indeed a good clean to the inner side of the mag with ballistol or similar would also help....
