I've been reloading since 1976. I got into it because I couldn't afford to pay $7.99 a box for 9mm ammo in those days. I bought a Pacific (the forerunner of Hornady) Power C single stage press and...

I'll just chirp in and say that TZZ is good 45 brass. I'm still loading cases that I picked up at an outside range back in the early '90's. I've found that the case wall thickness can be a bit...

These guys have more shockers on their website than a whole season of "That's Incredible!" reruns.

How about the 500 count box of RELOADED 9mm JHP's for a cool grand? I'd need an anesthetic to...

I've also shot a ton of Zero bullets in 9mm, 40 and 45. It's good stuff. I've never tried their loaded ammo, though.

Their website is a bit primitive and cumbersome, but it serves the purpose....

I never really planned it that way, but I have a crap ton of Rugers. Still own the first 2 guns that I bought...both Rugers, both bought within a couple of weeks of each other in 1973.

One is a...

I've got plenty of bullets and powder, but I was a bit short on small pistol primers. My local vendor has been out since March. When and if they come in stock online, the hazmat and shipping charges...

I saw a post on a Facebook group page last night, in which a gentleman had included a pic of his 1000 round case of Maxxtech 9mm FMJ that he'd just received.

He said that he had paid $477 for it....

I've owned a Desert Eagle 1911G for about 10 years. It's one of the first ones that was manufactured with the front cocking serrations (FCS). It has no problem standing with any of my other "name...

If that 1952 Colt 1911 is a truly collectible gun in mint or very good condition, it needs to be owned by someone who understands what they have. You don't offer a whole lot of ancillary information,...

It may work, but it wouldn't be my first or 2nd, or even 3rd choice for the .45ACP. It's too slow. I used to load 200 grain bullets, but I've settled on a load that uses a 185 grain JHP with powders...

I prefer fixed sights on a semiauto. I've never liked the idea of an adjustable sight mechanism being subjected to the physical abuse of a slide under recoil. I also don't think that I've ever...

I have sold quite a few guns on Gunbroker. I have no desire to "list" my guns locally and spend the required time meeting with weirdos and lunatic low ballers. Past experience has caused me to rule...

Yeah, Bersas may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they're not Zamak guns. I have an old Bersa 383A (predecessor of the Thunder 380), and it's still a great shooter. Definitely not made of pot metal....

I don't think that a place like that exists anywhere on Earth any longer. Living in Eden has been everyone in the USA's dream for the past 200 years. That's one of the reasons why we have states like...

I haven't received any requests from anyone about loaning them a gun, or about buying a gun of their own.

I'm a sucker for the 2 tone, or "Bitone" look. I'll always pick the 2 tone over a matte black or blued gun. I have a bunch of 'em.

The first centerfire pistol that I ever bought was a NIB Mauser "American Eagle" P08. That was in 1973. It looked just like the one in the attached pic, and was patterned after the 1929 Swiss model....

I remember buying my first shotgun, a Remington 870 Wingmaster in 20 gauge at a JC Penney store. Would've been 1975. They ran an ad for it in the newspaper. That was a great shotgun.

The only 9mm 1911 that I've owned was a Colt MKIV/Series 70 Government that I bought brand new back in 1977. I sold it 10 or 12 years ago.

It was a beautiful gun in typical Colt fashion, but it...

That's one gun that I'd buy just to have as a safe queen. How many of those freakin' things do you see, like...EVER? I'd guess that $1500 in the condition that you describe would be a no brainer.

I really dig the .44 Mag. I love shooting it. I bought my first .44 at a gunshow in Houston, TX, when I lived there back in about 1993. A Model 29 Classic. Deep blue, Python like shine to it. Round...

I frequently use the Roze Distribution/Zero brand 115JHP for my 9mm loads. I load them to around 1150fps. I don't use 231, though. That powder is too fast for those velocities.

I've used HS-6,...

I have used #5, Power Pistol and WSF to good measure for higher velocity loads in 45ACP with the 185 grain XTP. Power Pistol tends to generate more felt recoil and flash, but #5 and WSF have both...

There are a LOT of powders that work great in the 9mm. I've never used Titegroup. But, I've burned through a lot of HS-6, Accurate #5, WSF and CFE Pistol. Of those, WSF is my favorite for a 115JHP at...

I just got a Security Six back from AP&W. I had it hard chromed and 400 grit polished, so that it looks like stainless. It was only about a 4 week turnaround. They've done 3 guns for me; excellent...
