The REC-7 is awesome!

I bought a Noveske a few years ago and was very impressed with it. I think that the REC-7 is at least as good as my Noveske. Nuff said.

I think that what I am likely going to end up with is a RDS.

I had an Eotech on an AR some years ago that was OK. but I could never really warm to it. More recently I tried a Kahles Helia Red dot sight on a Barrett REC-7 that I bought a few months ago. And I...

I have not bought a new Colt in several years.

But the last one that I did buy. A Blue 80 series Government model in 38 Super. I bought new about three or four years ago. It is one of the nicer hand guns that I own.

Funny that they are so hit...

It is Darwin's theory at work.

I like my Ruger #1 rifle also.

But it is only a small bore, still looking for a big bore. AS for those bullets, a little pricey but wow talk about options. I have been looking for something new to play with. Maybe we will have to...

My thoughts exactly.

On killing things. Used some seventy grain TTSXs on a hog hunt in Texas last year in a heavy .224 AR rig. Putting them down like a thirty caliber round.

I have never seen a 112 gn Matchburner on...

I have seen this as well.

And I expect that we will see even more of it going forward to November 3.

Well it seems like the Chicago authorities have it well in hand.

With their two pronged approach to controlling crime. First they try to buy up all the guns. And then when the natives still get restless. They just raise the drawbridges over the moat, and the city...

I would not trust one for something critical.

Those things break down all the time. Especially in a dusty environment or one that is prone to large changes in temperature, and or humidity.

If we ever actually could get a viable third party here in the US.

It would be a big step up. But they are actually trying to move us the other way.

It looks like the CMP has their own ammo brand now.

The Creedmoor brand. Anyone have any experience with it?

Personally I always liked those Jeeps.

The ones that had the four inch Howitzers mounted on them.

Thinking about loading up some Barnes copper bullets.

To run out of an M-1 Garand. Thinking maybe 150s or 165s. Anyone ever do this? Curious if anyone has had any experience with doing so.

I was really hoping that Dopey Joe would go full commie.

And go with somebody like Maxine Waters or somebody. And he really did. But Mrs. Harris is a better actress and can try to fake moderation. But it is what it is. We all have to do what we can to...

I have a rail set up that came with the gun.

But the sight that you linked me to has the actual rifle sight shown as back ordered. I might consider it if they actually had it in stock.

Well since we are still on topic here.

I will add an additional two cents.

The American public has been conditioned over the years to be a very goal oriented society inasmuch as they expect goals to be achieved within a specific time...

If I had the wherewithal to do so.

I would support a nationwide giveaway of Harris/Biden bumper stickers to be distributed for free of course, all across the land. Dopey Joe likely would not even get it. But throwing gas on the fire...

The really scary part is.

That compared to the city council she looks like a fairly conservative person.

It might.

That of course assumes that there is actually anything left to buy.

The contemporary extension of this.

Is very clearly explained in a book by Eamonn Fingleton. "In the jaws of the dragon." It is pretty heavy reading and certainly not very entertaining, but well worth the time.

The big joke is the department "budget cut".

It is less than one percent of their budget. Talk about political grandstanding. Probably will not amount to much more than a cut back in the donuts at the stationhouse.

But then they can all go...

I just checked both of them.

It appears that Gunpartcorp is part of Numrich who I already tried. And Midwest gun works only has Marlin parts going back to 2009. My gun was made in 1992. Thanks for the tip though.
