Yes. The one on the right is the original. The one of the left is the Gen2 with Butler cut. The newest version still has the butler cut with a 4.4" barrel.

I've got quite of few of them in 140mm. I do like them for a duty gun, but they do show wear pretty quickly with use. Just FYI if silver scratches are going to bother you.

Yeah, I don't pay much attention to test targets. Everybody looks at sights a little different. I currently have 3 of them and they all shoot POA/POI. Very happy with current STI quality.
