Go to the hardware store and get 6-32x 1/2 black screws Screw them into the plate before mounting and file them to length, use tape on bottom of plate so you won't scratch it. Or order from Amazon...

Their quality is better than some. IMHO I'm well pleased with the one I got for my Glock 45 for RMR. Really tight and the leather seems high quality but haven't worn it enough to see how it holds...
