Chromium Nitride and DLC are harder and more impervious than hard chrome. The CN has a silver appearance and DLC is almost black.

SA, in my limited experience, does not do bow-ties.
On my TRP I slightly tapered the barrel feet. On my Pro I may but I'm not sure of the need.

For instance, one of my guns has a carbon steel frame and slide with a stainless barrel.

Thank you for the reminder. I tuned a hammer and sear a couple days ago and forgot that step. Went back today and just broke the corner, no radius to speak of.
