Paid $635 for my 5" I will never carry a 1911, only for range or home defense. I like the commander but not worth the extra money. Especially double the price.

Ruger does not have a written warranty (they do not want to deal with all the state laws that go with it) Ruger just fixes any problems that you will have with the gun if you bought it new or used....
