The gun had about 550 rounds through it when I noticed the broken extractor . Always chambered rounds from the mag, no abuse.
I guess I just lost some confidence in the gun,...

Settled on a 38 super load and made another 80...

Settled on a 38 super load and made another 80 rounds with 5.1gn Win 231, SNS 125gn LRN @ 1.255. Tried 5.0-5.4 and came up with this,its a nice accurate load just for plinking and shooting paper.

Getting to know the 550 a little

Finished up my first 1000 rounds (.45) . Being totally new at loading I learned a lot and had some minor mishaps along the way but in the end I think it went well, everything passed the case gauge...
