I had the same problem. You need to replace the pin. Justin sent some to me, but I just wound up sending the gun back. Good opportunity to get some custom work done while it was there.

I had issues with my Blue NH mags in my T3 when I used SD ammo (gold dot). Somehow, they prevented the slide from locking back and caused some peening. I went to WC officer mags and no more issues.

I would not hesitate to use a Brown for home defense, but currently I keep a HK45c by the bedside for things that go bump in the night. And that would only be used if I can't make it to my LWRC ar.

I am going to be sending my COO back. Mine shoots high as well. Also, rear sight is cocked on one side. I hope that they turn it around quickly. The gun shoots nice otherwise (with Wilson mags).

My Cent had the same brown residue during he first cleaning. My stainless Browns did not do this. Since the Cent is carbon steel, I assumed that it was rust. Cleaned it good and lubed everything up....

I spoke with Justin at Ed Brown once about a tight bushing. He said the they are hand fit to the particular gun. While you might get lucky, my guess would be that they would tell you to send it in.
