I can load my Shield 45 mags without the help of an UpLula mag loader, but I prefer not to. Your best bet is to buy extra mags. I recommend at least 3 more. Oh yeah, and an Uplula loader.

Absolutely. Apply the oil and rub lightly or moderately with the steel wool. 3 in 1 oil works too. Should get rid of the surface rust. Hopefully it's not pitted. But the grips will hide that.
