I bought mine at WalMart before they lost their mind. With .mil discount I paid a little over $700 for it. I akin the 6920 to the 870 of AR's. A good solid platform, but nothing fancy.

So I have the chance to buy a Pre- 29 S&W 44 Magnum, from about 1950 something. Looks just like a M 29. Only 6 rds through it, pinned barrel, blue S&W Box, coke bottle grips. It is truly beautiful....
