The muzzle end is crimped to fit a particular gun. By running a 4.25" gun in a 4" holster will not only ruin the holster's fit, but leaves your very important muzzle unprotected. I'd return it and...

You'd be better off buying a Dan Wesson Guardian in 38 Super. I'll bet your build will cost as much or more. Good luck, I do love that cartridge!

Most folks with DW problems didn't read the manual with specific break in procedures. They are a pain, and now expensive, but I've broken in four DW's and they are as perfect as a mid-range gun can...
