I spoke with customer service and was told there is no recommended service interval for the recoil spring replacement. Maybe start thinking about it at 10,000 rounds.

I went with a smith and alexander. Not a perfect match at the tangs but about 98% imho. Didn't need to touch the tangs, just put a tiny bevel on the gs where it meets the tangs and good to go!
