If it's "ALWAYS" toward the bottom of the mag, perhaps it's a case of either a weakening mag spring causing the round to scoot forward and snicking the stop, or limp wristing causing same?

Good luck, Midway sent me three more Mec Gar mags UPS, who gave them to USPS and USPS claimed they were delivered. I have a locked mailbox and did not get them. Be happy you got mags at all :-)

With my Beretta's, Colts, and S&W's I have a cache of spare parts for them from extractors, springs, firing pins, guide rods, sears, hammers, screws, grips to even having spare barrels and or slides....
