When I worked at my friends gunsmith shop during the 70's and 80's we re-blued a Ruger Single 6 for my son. The whole gun was done at the same time in the same tank. The finished came out beautiful....

The club I belong to sets the steel at 18-20 yards. Never closer than 15. This is for handguns only and no mag loads on steel. Eyes and ears always.
