So I got the gun back after Alex installed a new slide and barrel. I am not at all upset with the work. Slide to new frame fit is phenomenal and no tool markings inside or out. Zero play in the fit....

Leave it. The back of the frame is going to be wider anyways so I wouldn’t touch the dust cover at all. Not worried about it on mine.

With no magazine in, pull the slide back and see if the feedramp is a smooth transition from the frame to the barrel. Does the bullet dent look like it hit that transition on the barrel ramp?

It is a 2011, same slide and frame measurements. Every manufacturer of 2011 Grips have very minor differences but it isn’t a different platform.

Have you ever seen the lower lugs of a Gen 5 vs Gen 4? They are not even close to the same. Simply google it. Having just finished a Glock 5 day armored course, I assure they are not all the same.
