I have had good luck with Wilson Bullet proof parts -- including the extractor.

Call STI and get one of their extractors on the way also.

You have to be careful buying the "cheap" 40 brass. Some once fired 40 brass may be too bulged to chamber even after re-sizing with a full length die due to high pressures and un-supported chambers...
