I seen the dried oil look like red freckling, very light rust. But the three guns from the same seller all cleaned up to 99.99% bluing. The seller thought it was rust.

I don’t like how my 2 3/4” barrel handles 357 mag loads. I think the 38 special round nose is the way to go for the misses. I like my magnums with 4” barrels to 10” barrels.
