Indoors and shooting within vehicles I wear my Peltor ComTac's over foam ear buds. I've tried the headset over the active TEP-200's but that was just weird.
The active ear buds are ok for shotguns...

In regard to that link, a Fl guide rod and a plug is all I see.

It's safe to shoot and you will probably end up with a lot more copper after you do. It only takes one bullet to foul a new barrel, especially a service grade barrel.

Kroil or CLP won't take it...
