I like it myself and prefer a single sided thumb safety as their ambi safeties have been fitting loose in the past on similar priced Springfields. On the 9MM who really needs checkering.

Great pistols. I still would rather have a Gen 3 S&W than a M&P any day I overall I like the M&P Pistols except for their triggers.

I too will likely buy one, but I'll wait for the prices to come down. Maybe even I'll be able to buy a slightly used one from a Walking Dead Fan who recovers he can't shoot it as well as Rich Grimes...
