This is as far as I got down the Walther's road. Admittedly the SF would be ok if it just had a decent trigger. The other, just like any other plastic gun, no matter how much tape you put on it.

Well then you lead a blessed life, either that or you shoot S&W. I say that because I use S&W's to shoot all my out of spec ammo because they seem to eat everything.

At those distances I don't think you are wrong, if the target is in the clear, at 7-10yds is when I start using the sights and 20+ is when a optic comes in to play for me.

I don't think it's what gun they were shot it, that usually shows as a base bulge after sizing. I'd probably measure you sizing die and powder funnel.
My 9 reloads usually have a feminine waistline...

I wont argue that heavier slower bullets feel softer but I think you have to separate perceived/felt recoil from actual recoil or muzzle flip. Good articles above but one thing I never see addressed...
