If the die has a crimp feature it may be set a little to low, crimping tight before the bullet is seated all the way. Or possibly it may not be trying to crimp in the bullet groove but on the flat....

That is a guys dream rifle right there. Very nice. I looked at one at Scheels and was impressed with the quality. Looks like a really accurate rig too. Good luck with load development.

I have never tried the 45's but the 9mm 115gr TMJ flat out shoot really well for me with a load of Power Pistol. Well enough I filled an ammo can with them.

My second 1911 was a stainless Mil Spec. Followed it with a RO. Shoot the Mil Spec and carry it more than the other 2. Want a blue Mil Spec next. Love them.

Very light wipe of Imperial sizing wax works wonders for me. I upgraded to the bench mount do to the volume of brass I was doing. Liked the press mount with a touch of lube just fine.
