One problem with the groove around the bolt is that the spring seems to catch on it if you make it too deep, so I've settled on a very light "scratch" and I embellish it with marker, etc.

Changing primer sizes on the 550 is where the time is. Caliber change within the same size is just a few minutes....

Disassembly/reassembly should not alter the pull, providing you don't futz with the sear spring.

Price is fair, IMO, I usually charge $65...

I don't think you'll find too many Open 40's, altho' I do know of one up in NOVA. Most are 38 Supers or some rendition of 38 SuperComp, TJ, etc.
