They are very good and easy to tune. What I donít understand is why they use a Stainless sear spring. I have 4 Valors and each has a Colt carbon steel sear spring. Easy fix.

I don't have nearly the experience or skill of JayhawkNavy and, for me its 4.0 gr of either Bullseye or N310 under a 200gr LSWC. For what I like to do, flip a coin, it won't make any difference.

When I need extra magazines for my 1911s, including my 5 DWs, I go with Tripp. Work fine in .45 ACP, .40 S&W, and 9mm. I get them through Harrison Design.

I agree with you, they work fine. Could also be that DW sources spring plugs from EGW and they only make two lengths: Commander and 6Ē slide.
